- Ogie Diaz reacted to Police Chief Depositar’s statement regarding gay men.
- He said that even though he has a family, he’s still gay.
- Diaz added that he doesn’t drink alcohol so he’s always sober when being intimate with his wife.
Ogie Diaz reacted to Makati Police Chief Harold Depositar’s statement saying how gay men are still capable of touching women as it’s basic male instinct.
The police’s statement came after one of the alleged suspects of Christine Dacera’s death, Gregorio de Guzman, defended himself saying that he had nothing to do with the alleged sexual abuse as he’s gay.
“Lalaki pa din sila. May instinct ‘yan and… you know, lalo na if you’re under the influence of intoxicating alcohol, and kung may presence of drugs pa — lalo na,” Depositar said in an interview.
In a Facebook post, talent manager and television personality Ogie Diaz reacted to the whole fiasco.
“Bakit ako ang ginagawang sampol sa ‘Ang bakla, pag nakainom, nagiging lalake din?'” he wrote on his post.
Ogie is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community but also has a wife and five kids.
He added that he doesn’t drink alcohol and their kids were conceived while he was sober. He also said that he acts like a straight man when it comes to intimacy but acts like his usual self after doing the deed.
“Pero totoo sa akin ‘yung when it comes to intimacy kineso, e para din akong straight barako. Pero after cumming to town, titikwas na naman ang mga daliri ko.”
Ogie then asked the police to find out what really happened to Christine to give justice and help to her family.
“Saka sa mga kapulisan natin, husayan na lang po natin ang imbestigasyon,” he said.
“Hanapin na lang po natin ang katotohanan at tulungan n’yo na lang po ang pamilya ng biktima at mga sangkot na makamit ang hustisya sa maintrigang pagkamatay ng flight attendant.”
The talent manager also commented on the recent controversial and confusing statements of police officers.
“Bumabagsak na po ang morale ng mga kapulisan dahil sa maling opinyon at baluktot na katapangan ng ilan. Dapat ‘pag pulis ang pinag-uusapan, kasunod nang deskripsyon diyan ay proteksyon at seguridad – hindi takot at pangamba.”
He added that praise will only be given to those who deserve it.
“Pwede naman nating iangat ang dignidad at integridad ng kapulisan, e. Pero nagsisimula ‘yan sa kanilang hanay, pupuri lang kami kung may kapuri-puri.”

Philippine National Police warned the alleged suspects that they will start a manhunt against the eight individuals connected to Christine’s death.
He said that if they fail to surrender in 72 hours, the police will find them.
On the other hand, Makati City‘s prosecutor’s office ordered the release of the three alleged suspects who were first to surface.
The prosecutor requested the police to prove that Dacera was really raped and killed as well as to determine the actual cause of her death. Apart from that, the police were ordered to submit the DNA analysis report, toxicology/chemical analysis, and the histopathology examination report to the prosecutor’s office.
