Presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos has been exposed as a pathological liar by a group dedicated to the candidacy of VP Leni Robredo.
Netizens have observed that Marcos hasn’t been truly honest about his history and accomplishments. An example would be his education at Oxford which he says he finished, but the university has denied the claim multiple times.
The former senator’s supporters have defended him from critics, but it’ll be hard to do so this time.
Facebook page Davao For Leni enumerated clearly the top lies perpetuated by Marcos and his believers.
One would be that Marcos was too young during the Martial Law era but was already serving as Governor of Ilocos Norte. Another is that accusations against the Marcos family members are entirely false, but Supreme Court rulings have ruled against them.
He also denied that his family became rich through ill-gotten wealth despite the government having already recovered a small amount.
Marcos isn’t known to attack political rivals and is diplomatic in how he talks. His camp said it will “not engage in negative and hateful campaigning.”
Senatorial candidate Neri Colmenares however, doesn’t equate telling the truth to hateful campaigning.

His remark came after Robredo told veteran host Boy Abunda that people shouldn’t vote for Marcos because he’s a liar and rarely shows up during challenging times.
