Broadcast journalist Ted Failon with DJ Chacha during the program Radyo Singko 92.3, urged voters to vote wisely, and avoid fake news and historical revisionism on April 19, 2022.
Failon made commentaries as he explained about accepting the leader chosen by the people as long as it followed a clean election.
Kung sino man ho talaga ang pipilin, yun naman talaga ang, you know, tatanggapin natin whether you like it or not. Basta importante lang ho, malinis na halalan,” he explained.
He even emphasized that electing someone by engaging in fake news is liken to electing a fake leader.

Failon’s co-host DJ Chacha also shared another video on twitter on April 29 of Failon’s commentaries.
He emphasized that history exists for us to learn and that it does not just exist for us to like or dislike the way we want it.
History mga kapatid is not there for us to like or dislike. History is there for us to learn from it,” Failon explained.
“History is, you know, history is there, walang karapatan, sino man sa atin, ikaw at ako, na baguhin ito.
Kasaysayan yan, nakaukit yan, ikaw at ako, walang sinuman ang may karapatan na baguhin ito,” he added emphasizing on the issue of historical revisionism.
DJ Chacha responded and sarcastically point out the sources of people in learning histories such as Tiktok and YouTube and the possibility of Failon being mocked for being better than the said two platforms.
“Anong kasaysayan Ted Failon? Mas naniniwala ako sa Tiktok. Saka sa YouTube. Pinagsasabi mong kasaysayan d’yan. Mas magaling ka pa sa nasa TikTok? Ted Failon?”
