Social media influencer Macoy Dubs experienced “inconveniences” during his visit to Paris, France.
He detailed his time in Paris which wasn’t all that bad except for one thing.
“PARIS, may kwento ako,” he wrote at the beginning of his Instagram post.
He said Paris is a “beautiful city” with a “rich history.”

However, he claimed to have been a victim of a prevalent scam mainly targeting tourists.

“Pero kung anong ganda eh bilang turista makakaranas tayo ng inconveniences.
“Nabudol ako sa Montmartre ng Bracelet Boys. So kung may plano kayo pumunta don, doble ingat.
He felt he was robbed of his hard-earned Euros.
“Hindi biro mabudol ng ilang euros lalo na kung pinag-ipunan mo to. Ngayon ko lang natutunan nung may nabasa ako sa Reddit,”It appears Macoy fell right into the bracelet scam. Scammers would wrap a bracelet around a tourist’s wrist and ask for a donation persistently. The other version would be for the bracelet to be a distraction while an accomplice pickpockets the tourist.
Despite the bad experience, Macoy enjoyed his stay.
“Okay naman ang Metro nila. Pero mas pansin kong mas organized and neat ang Metro sa Amsterdam.”
“Masarap ang food. Once in a while pag kaya ng budget, kakain tayo sa fine dining. Once or twice is good, the rest mabubuhay ka sa make-your-own-salad sa Franprix.
Aside from being everything that he expected it to be, he also found Paris to be very “walkable.”
“I love the city, it’s walkable lalo na kung tulad kita na mahilig maglakad. Natuwa ako sa mga French kids, mahilig sila magpunta sa museum. Yun lang.
“Naiwan din kami ng bus papuntang Milan kung nababasa mo pa ito. Walang Filipino time, filipino time sa Europa. On the dot sila umalis, na-late lang kami ng isang minute,” he added.
