Nadine Lustre and designer Rajo Laurel couldn’t contain their anger at the Paranaque hit-and-run incident that took the life of an ageing street sweeper.
On September 24, TV Patrol reported a sports utility vehicle running over a female street sweeper inside BF Homes in Paranaque City.
The footage shows the car crushing the street sweeper twice before fleeing the scene. Authorities have since caught the driver, but his/her name hasn’t been made public.
Meanwhile, 63-year-old Doreen Bacus has been suffering gravely from the accident. Her death angered netizens, including Lustre and Laurel.
The actress is eager to be updated on the situation. She also doesn’t buy the driver’s excuse of not seeing the street sweeper because he/she was on his/her phone.

Lustre is also unsure if Bacus will be given justice given how things work in the country. She deleted her retweet of the incident’s footage because it frustrates her that much.
