A 25-year-old paramedic in Russia has been relieved from work after she posted a string of selfies with her dying patients captioned with “another moron” and “how I hate my job”
Tatiana Kulikova, who admitted taking the shocking photos, outraged the local residents particularly the relatives of patients in her photos.
According to Artem Golubev, a local health campaigner, “It is clear that while she was taking these photographs she was not looking after her patients. She shows a callous disregard for the welfare of her patients, some of whom died after those pictures were taken.”
He also added that he wouldn’t be surprised if the families of the patients sue both her and the emergency services.
In an interview with the city’s emergency services, a spokesman said that as soon as they were alerted to the photos posted online, they suspended Kulikova. She was then fired after an investigation proved she committed the grim act.
Metro reports she was hauled before the emergency service officials after being fired from the job.
Up to this day, Kulikova has not released any comments with regards to the incident.
