ASUS CEO Jerry Shen spearheaded the launching of the phones in Hall A, World Trade Center, Pasay City. Speaking of how enthusiastic he was to personally see and thank Filipinos, he said, “I’m so excited to be here to see all of you. Philippines has a very special place in my heart. When we launched our first zenfone, all of you welcome us with open arms and we are forever grateful for all support.”
Unleashing the six notable features of Zenfone 2, Shen highlighted its ‘zen’ beauty, unprecedented performance, sharp camera vision, fast charging ability, ultimate design to serve as a best companion, andits beauty and strength transverse through it’s own spirit.
He proudly presented the new smartphone as a ‘master of rigorous’ details and a ‘symbol of persistence and perfection’.
Game-changing innovation promises the mobile phone experience will never be the same again with its ZE551ML and ZE500ML.
Here’s a look at the ZE551ML. This smartphone displays 5.5-inch Super Bright IPS Full HD, uses Lollipop OS, with 13MP Autofocus, aperture f/2.0 rear view camera, 5MP front camera and weighs 170g. It’s high capacity 3000 mAh battery life delivers fast charge up to 60% in no more than 39 minutes.
It comes in Glacier Gray, Osmium Black, Glamour Red, and Sheer Gold colors.
This 4G LTE model is the first smartphone to offer 4GB ram, thus it enables fast-charging capability. It’s monstrous performance won’t leave you disappointed to multitask and run games smoothly free of lag.

It is equipped with 8MP Auto Focus, Big Aperture f/2.0 rearview and 2MP front camera and weighs 155g. It offers 2500mAh battery. The phone comes in charcoal black, pearl white, and cherry red colors and costs Php 7,995.
