Reports about a robbery inside Fontana Villas surfaced when one Netizen named Koko De Leon posted on social media his rants about their experience at the leisure park. Fontana is one of the more popular leisure parks in the country. The 300-hectare property situated in Clarkfield, Pampanga is the only resort in the country that is a leisure park complete with a theme water park, golf course, and casino.
De Leon has been a regular guest of Fontana for the past 10 years and it was not until the night of May 18 did she encounter an unfortunate incident with the establishment. In her full length post, De Leon narrated from when they first got there to reserve a booking with her friends. They checked-in the next afternoon and as what guests usually do, they roamed around the vicinity taking photos, swam, and returned to the villa after an hour. When they reached the villa, they realized their key card was not working. With the help of the staff, they were able to open the villa and discovered that the gadgets, cash, wallets, and several cards that they left inside were missing.
Since Fontana did not seem to exert any effort to resolve the incident, they brought their complaint to Clark Development Corporation.

De Leon questioned Fontana’s claim that there was no forced entry to their villa. This only added to their suspicion that what happened was an inside job. And because of this exposé, they discovered that some guests encountered the same experience, with cases unresolved.
As of writing, there are still no actions from Fontana, and in one of the comments on De Leon’s account, she said Clark Development Corporation advised the latter to bring to media their complaints in order to expedite results.
