An act of kindness goes a long way.
A Facebook user named Mae Y. posted a status showing a photo of one of the security officers in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig. Mae even stated in her post to like and share the photo to reinforce good behavior.
Mae, who had to change one of her car’s tires, approached one of the security officers to ask where she could get help. However, the security officer identified as S/G Tortosa immediately helped Mae change her flat tire. She described Tortosa’s gesture as an act of selflessness as he went beyond his duty.
Mae stated that Tortosa helped her “without complaining, paying no attention to the buckets [of] sweat.”
On a final note, Mae called the attention of the BGC car park management and asked that Tortosa be recognized. She also mentioned that Tortosa’s act was exemplary and hopes that it can inspire and remind that helpful people are around us, all the time.
Kudos S/G Tortosa!
