The hottest athletes of the 2015 SEA Games you should look out for

The 2015 South East Asian Games has officially started. With so many participants this year coming from different countries across South East Asia, we know you already have your bets on who will win in a respective sport.

While most of them impressed us with their athletic excellence, some won the hearts of many because of their exceptional good looks.

Male

Joseph Schooling – Swimming (Singapore)

The 19-year-old University of Texas student proved that he is not just a pretty face by breaking records in different swimming competitions such as bagging Singapore’s first ever swimming medal at the Commonwealth Games where he took home a silver in 100m butterfly and received the gold in last year’s Asian games.

Chanathip Songkrasin – Football (Thailand)

Also known as “Messi-J” / “Messi Jay” because of his small physique and remarkable dribbling ability, this midfielder was hailed as the best player in last year’s ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup

Gerardo Valmayor – Football (Philippines)

We see him in Azkals games. Though he may have earned penalties during the game, this ruggedly handsome man along with his team is focused on winning gold for the country.

Irfan Fandi – Football (Singapore)

The son of the soccer legend Fandi Ahmad is making his own name in the industry. With his exceptional skills, he was included top 40 young talents in world football by The Guardian last year.

Luis Gabriel Moreno – Archery (Philippines)

Young, charming, and very skilled. He may seem very young, but he has already won a gold medal in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. This year, his eyes is on the prize. Go for the gold!

Mac Hong Quan – Football (Vietnam)

Born in Vietnam and trained in Czech, the No. 17 striker not only keeps himself busy in games, but he also models during his free time. In fact, with his charisma, he has been reported to date a few aspiring models.

Max Gerard Ducourneau – Rugby (Singapore)

This eye candy made his debut in Asian Rugby Football Union Men’s 7s series in Hong Kong last year. And since then, fans has been following him, especially now as their team is aiming for the gold.

Calvin Kang – Sprinter (Singapore)

Juggling between school, business, and training, this athlete knows how to handle his time. He solely represented Singapore in the IAAF World Championships two years ago in Moscow where he finished first in Heat 4 of the preliminaries with a time of 10.52 seconds in the men’s 100m run.

Sarach Yooyen – Football (Thailand)

This midfielder hottie has been very active in different competitions such as the 2014 Asian Games where he  represented Thailand U23 and being a member of Thailand’s squad that competed in the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup.

 

Female

Charmaine Soh – Netball (Singapore)

She made a very strong debut in last year’s Asian Netball Championship where they won and qualified for the Netball World Cup. But even before that, Soh has actively participated in different competitions like the Nation’s Cup, Asian Championships in Colombo and more.

Dawne Chua – Gymnastics (Singapore)

She hasn’t made a name yet but this beautiful lady is representing their country in the Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Category

Farah Ann Abdul Hadi – Gymnastics (Malaysia)

The vibrant-looking 20-year-old is targeting to take home the gold medal this year in both the individual and team disciplines.

Phan Thi Ha Thanh – Gymnastics (Vietnam)

Named as the “golden girl”, she currently holds the world number two standing in the vault getting a silver medal for the balance beam and a bronze medal in 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

Samantha Annabelle Neubronner – Sailing (Singapore)

This Eurasian cutie braved the open sea and won the 2010 Optimist Oceania Championships being first in overall standing.

Sasha Christian – Wakeboard (Singapore)

The gold medalist of the 2011 SEA Games and both gold and bronze medal holder in the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, this gorgeous woman also blogs on the side.
