Philippine music icon Ely Buendia has apparently joined the throng of disgruntled passengers and clients of Cebu Pacific Airlines. On his Twitter account, Buendia posted several outraged statements regarding a delayed flight and the lack of helpfulness of one of the local airline’s supervisors.
Buendia called out Marion Carunungan who told the artist that there were no more seats available until the following day. Buendia was further enraged when they discovered online that there were actually seats available on the next flight. Buendia apparently got pissed off upon finding out the supervisor may just have made the unavailability of seats as an excuse to not be bothered anymore as Carunungan’s shift was ending.
The issue ended on a happier note, though, when Philippine Airlines responded to Buendia’s tweet and assured him they will look into the incident.
We were 15mins before fight schedule and when we checked in, the lady in the counter said we should’ve checked in 30mins before flight sched. They sold our (2) tickets to somebody else. This happened on caticlan-manila flight. We talked to the manager and same thing, they dont give a damn. They even said it was already sold to chance passengers.
