Netizen Chai Versoza Gatuz shared a story of how Ian Jimenez fell asleep while commuting to Malinta, Valenzuela one evening and had his money and phone stolen. The thief took selfies on the stolen phone and sent them to Gatuz using Jimenez’s account. Gatuz uploaded the photos on Facebook to serve as a warning to other commuters. The photos also gained a lot of comments from other netizens who were less than flattering with their words (considering that the woman in the photos is a thief, many felt she deserved all the criticisms).
Gatuz warned netizens, particularly those who worked in night shifts, to be alert and on the lookout for this person. The good thing about these selfies is that this is just what the victim needs to identify and prosecute this thief. More selfies, miss?
