Swindlers steal a huge amount from a family in Cebu

Netizen Merlyn Matthews posted on her social media account about big time, professional scammers Arrianne Rosalie Tadefa Vila and Jethro Vila, who allegedly duped them out of a huge amount of money in Cebu. According to Matthews, the couple, who she later on discovered have two warrants of arrest in Manila and multiple cases of scam and estafa amounting to more that 42 million pesos in Bulacan, befriended their family to get their trust, made up stories about their business investments and connections, presented fake documents and IDs, and then allegedly swindled them at the time her family was at a low point because of her husband’s illness.

Matthews warned the public, especially the people of Cebu to be aware of these criminals and called on fellow netizens to help with the immediate arrest of the live-in partners.

A reward of P100,000 will be given to anyone who can give information leading to the incarceration of the two.

These (sic) couple are professional swindlers. See FB- WISE PINOY: NO to scammers and Swindlers for full stories. Even had news with TULFO! Already filed a police report, worked with CIDG, news media, I am now putting a reward for their capture – 100 Thousand and I’m doing this so they will no longer be able to scam more people. She has no heart and quotes a lot of scriptures in the talking. Really a wolf dressed in a sheepskin so beware! – Merlyn Matthews
