Have you ever encountered a cold-hearted woman? One who has trouble in finding a partner? Science has finally explained why. It may be possible that she was once rejected by an attractive man.
The Social Psychological and Personality Science published studies which revealed how women would act if attractive men would reject them.
The study involved two groups of men: the “physically” attractive profile group and the “less” attractive profile group.
At the end of the study, the women who were rejected by the “attractive” men became less interested than when they first met the attractive guy. Moreover, when the rejected women were approached by the “less attractive” guys, they showed even less interest which revealed that it is difficult to please a woman who was once rejected.
With the study, one can say that a woman who was once rejected by an attractive man wouldn’t want to rebound with a less attractive one as it would probably make her feel less attractive. She may not want to settle for something less than she already had before.
However, further studies need to be conducted, according to the study’s author Geoff MacDonald.
“Sometimes undermining immediate acceptance may be exactly the goal when that acceptance comes from someone you don’t want to be identified with,” MacDonald said.
