A video of an enraged woman throwing piles of cash at a saleslady in a jewelry store in China has been making the rounds online. It seems that the sales assistant may have said something that angered the customer, reports Shanghaiist. In the clip, the Chinese lady can be seen yelling at the clerk, “What? You think I don’t have money?What kind of place is this? A fashion street? Would you believe I could buy this entire street?”
She then reached inside her handbag, took out wads of money, and hurled it at the saleswoman’s face.
In another report, she was also heard saying, “Do you know who my father is?”
The unidentified shopper only stopped when another lady, apparently her companion, walked towards her and calmed her down. According to AsiaOne, while most of the netizens criticized the customer, others were doubtful as to the authenticity of the video thinking it may be staged for the store to gain publicity.
