The International Coffee chain, Starbucks recently opened it’s new Shop on the Capital City of Bagota in Colombia. Which is famous for their Arabica Coffee. Though they are known for exporting Arabica Beans, they’re taste for Coffee is Traditional, instead of sweet and creamy coffee they prefer it Black which they call Tinto (similar to Kapeng Barako) and is sold everywhere.
This is the first of 50 stores they plan to open over the next five years. The question is will the Colombian’s ditch Starbucks because there are a lot of local coffee stores and street vendors or will they love it like we do now.
