MANILA, Philippines. “Carrot Man” Jeyrick Sigmaton has set the trend for unassuming hotties to be noticed online. After becoming an overnight social media sensation, the certified cutie from Mountain Province has paved way for other good-looking men such as “Cabbage Man,” “Chicharon Man,” “Strawberry Man,” and others to gain online popularity.
It seems that many netizens have started following the trend to get online attention and provide comic relief on social media. One of them is Koleen Alcantara whose post on Facebook has recently gone viral, amassing over 8,000 shares as of this writing.
Alcantara posted photos of a man she tagged as “napkin man” whom she met at a grocery store in the United States. According to Alcantara, the man sought her help in picking out a sanitary pad for his girlfriend who was stuck at work.
Initially, Alcantara thought that the man was joking but after realizing that he was serious, she immediately assisted him.
Towards the end of her post, Alcantara said that the man she dubbed as “napkin man” is a rare find these days. She also encouraged other men to treat ladies the way “napkin man” treats his girlfriend.
“Grabe girls, kung may ganitong kayong boyfriend, huwag nyo ng pakawalan. Konti na lang yung mga ganitong mag eeffort at hindi mahihiya na tumambay sa napkin isle (sic),” she wrote.
(Girls if you have a boyfriend like him, don’t let him go. There are only a few men who will exert effort and will not be ashamed to stay in the napkin aisle.)
