Man has penis removed to stop his cancer from spreading

A 67-year-old man suffering from penile cancer underwent a surgery that had his manhood removed to prevent cancer from spreading.

The man only identified as Colin had agreed to show his genitals on ITV’s Jeremy Kyle’s Emergency Room in order to warn others of the disease. He also admitted on the TV show how his devastating disease has ruined his sex life.

“I lost my manhood, I’m not the man I used to be. It plays hell with your head.”

“The sex is gone,” he told host Jeremy Kyle.

According to Colin, he noticed a red rash on his penis but paid no attention to it initially. He then decided to consult a doctor after his private part started itching. The doctor prescribed a cream for the itch.

After experiencing a painful ulcer, Colin was referred to a urologist who instructed him to have a biopsy. Three weeks later, the results came in which revealed that Colin had cancer.

Although his cancer hadn’t spread and he did not need radiotherapy or chemotherapy, Colin had no choice but to go through a surgery that will remove his manhood.

Despite his condition, Colin can still get a partial erection and may use a prosthesis if he decides to.
