Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s daughter Sara “Inday Sara” Duterte-Carpio is known for her active presence on social media. Inday Sara is also known to be tough just like her father. Recently, she challenged former actress Cynthia Patag to a debate as the latter posted an article criticizing Duterte’s abilities as a father on her Facebook page with a photo of Duterte’s children in tattoos and shaven heads.
On March 7, 2016, Cynthia Patag posted the link to an article entitled, Duterte: He wants to be head of the whole Filipino Family.. But… When it comes to family he cannot take care of it. She captioned the link with the words, “The First Children?”
Patag’s post got Inday Sara’s attention which prompted her to make a post on Instagram calling Patag “the first sycophant.”

(Cynthia Patag, don’t meddle in other people’s lives who aren’t also meddling in your life. Let’s have a debate, girl? Would you like that? You might even sh*t durian, you animal!)
Inday Sara then posted on Instagram another photo of herself and her two brothers which captioned, “My brothers are my rocks. Anyone who wants to trash talk them goes through me first. Saman? Asa naman ka Cynthia Patag? Dali na girl. (What do you want to happen, where are you, Cynthia Patag? Come on, girl.)”
Inday Sara finally posted a photo collage of herself and Patag on Instagram telling Patag that she is just waiting for Patag to respond to her challenge.
Patag, a former comedienne, has always been a vocal supporter of the administration’s party on her Facebook account. She has over 40,000 followers on her Facebook page, and her posts against Binay went viral in 2015. She also has been posting against the political candidates of the other opposition parties.
As of this writing, Patag has not responded yet to Inday Sara’s challenge.
