Construction Worker’s Daughter is Finally Graduating as Scholar and Working Student

On March 5, 2017, another inspiring story had become viral on social media. It was after Cealline Griarte had posted her graduation pictures along with the stories of triumph and the hardships that she had gone through.

Cealline proudly shared that she was a daughter of a hardworking construction worker and a housewife. Her younger sibling had to temporarily take some time off from school for the reason that their family income is would only suffice for their daily expenses and other bills.

She was granted with a full scholarship in Jose Rizal University after graduating as a salutatorian in high school.

However, trial had come her way. Sadly, her general weighted average (GWA) did not reach the school’s maintaining grade for scholars.

But that incident did not become a hindrance for Cealline to continue striving hard for her dreams. She applied for work as a call-center agent in a BPO company located in Eastwood and endured everything without even giving up.

Thankfully, she was able to get another scholarship afterwards. But still, she continued her gigs to be able to pay for her school expenses.

She worked as a singer in different events, joined some contests and did everything to help herself finish college.

And finally, after years of sleepless nights and endless work, Cealline will be graduating on March 31, 2017. She thanked every significant person in her life that supported her through the years.

The netizens are amazed at how she had managed to do everything, but Cealline said that patience was the key. Presently, her post had a total of 35,000 reactions, 7,063 shares and 2,934 comments in total.

Cealline Griarte is trully a role model for all the students who are struggling to make ends meet. She is the proof that financial problem should never be the reason as to why you cannot make your dreams come true.
