Billboards are seen in almost every city – which is put up by businesses to endorse their products to a number of people passing by each day. Generally, we are used to see different kinds of advertisements on it such as cars, condominium units, food and brands.
But other than that, have you ever seen a list of social media accounts being promoted on a billboard ad?
In Cebu, Philippines, a billboard was put up with a bizarre kind of advertisement. It had the photo of a lady, and on the side is the list of all her social media accounts. The photo of the said personal ad had become viral after a netizen posted in online.
People found out that the woman’s identity is Leanne Tessa. She is an aspiring artist – singer, dancer, and model. The woman originally came from Cebu, but is currently living in Los Angeles, California. She had started her way to stardom through the use of these popular networking sites by showcasing her talent to the world.
But, did she really use a billboard to promote her internet accounts?
No, it wasn’t her. Tessa’s uncle is the one who took the initiate to promote his niece’s uprising career abroad. Indeed no one is more supported than this man who took endorsing Tessa on a different level.
The people of the internet were surprised with Tessa’s billboard as it was the first time someone made such kind of advertisement. Some internet users just laughed it off.
But there are some who criticize the ad’s unimpressive arrangement.
Instead of fighting back to her bashers, Tessa just ignored them and thanked his family member’s thoughtful gesture.
