An outrage hits the town of this Indian woman who killed 15 puppies in front of their mother to teach the dog a lesson. Weeks ago, the town of Krishnanagar, India was a target of hate comments from netizens because of the incident.
Knowing the situation in India, it has a lot of stray animals in its streets. These stray animals are just trying to find food and shelter.
While some people leave out food outside for these stray dogs to eat, some adopt them generously.
But most are maltreated
A four-year-old stray dog in Krishnanagar delivered her 15 new-born puppies in a gutter by the gate of this woman’s house. Upon seeing the end result, Ponamma, the puppy killer, went all hell breaks loose. She held each puppy one by one and slammed them against rocks before throwing the dead bodies in front of the mother dog. Ammu, the mother dog, just stood there watching the heartless woman killed her babies.
The India Times said in a report that Ammu kept nudging the dead bodies of her babies trying to wake them up. Frantic and running around, the mother dog tried to get some help from other villagers.
Responding to the mourning dog, some people near Ponamma’s house called NGOs for help. Fortunately, the ruthless woman was arrested after getting a complaint. If proven guilty, she would face up to five years in jail.
