Despite the culture and tradition differences, Darren Espanto and Malaysian wonder Nik Qistina were able to make a beautiful music together. After all, music is said to be the universal language. For Darren, music is a powerful element that transcends all sorts of barriers and he hopes that his collaboration with Nik helps him hit the Southeast Asian market.
“It was such an honor for an international artist like Nik Qistina to have guested in my song after I did the duet with her for ‘Young Hearts.’ It’s nice that two people from different backgrounds were able to make something amazing. I’m so excited about this collaboration. I hope it will lead to more opportunities for me outside the Philippines,” Darren confesses.
Darren on Malaysian Promotion Tour
Darren Espanto’s sophomore album entitled Be With Me Deluxe Edition is set to be promoted via Malaysian tour. After a successful Singapore promo tour last year, Darren is ready to take Malaysia by storm.
But before the said international tour, his counterpart Nik Qistina was the first one to fly overseas. Qistina arrived on June 11 and will stay for three days to film their music videos for “My Baby and Me” and “Young Hearts”. The duo will also appear on various radio and TV shows to promote both of their singles.
Darren’s Be With Me Deluxe Edition featuring his collab with Nik is now available at all leading record stores and on digital platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, and Spinnr.
