Pays Up A Billboard Space
Xian Gaza recalls his first meeting with her ultimate celebrity crush Erich Gonzales in an interview. According to him, he went to watch a movie alone and coincidentally, he sat behind Erich and her friends. After the movie, he did not waste the chance and ask the then-teen star for a selfie.
While still moving on from his previous relationship, his focus went full circle to his developing feelings to Erich. That led to his ‘first time in Philippine history’ date proposal for the actress. Imagine? He paid full-sized billboard just to ask Erich for a coffee date!
Set in Morayta, Manila he made sure that it was so big everyone would pay attention to it. In the tarpaulin, he was able to punch up a pick-up line for the actress saying:
“I can’t even espresso how much I like you a latte.”
On the details, a cartoon version of him was holding a jewelry box in his hand in a similar fashion of a guy proposing for a marriage. With Erich’s real and screen name flashing on the billboard, he popped the question “Will you… drink coffee with me?”
Gaza posted a picture online of him standing in front of the billboard. Within minutes of posting it, it already went viral having almost 5,000 shares and more than 15,000 reactions.
Mixed feedbacks
While some of the netizens think that he went overboard for his proposal, many had admired his courage (and budget) to pull off a huge stunt like this.
Others think that he was just throwing away his wealth and that Erich is way out of his league. But linking to his background, this bachelor is a CEO of Guanxiqian Group, a sales and networking company.
He must be earning big then.
Meanwhile, Erich Gonzales remains mum about this issue but many will appreciate it if she says yes. Let’s just wait for her side’s answer and hope for the better.
