Lhen Purisima Haraki, a mother and a wife, posted an intriguing exposé about a hotel’s lack of good service and security. According to her, she checked in at Icon Hotel in Timog, Quezon City with her Japanese husband and their 5-month-old son. They decided that the venue is great for their son’s upcoming Christening reception. It was all good until they woke up next morning.

After eating breakfast, they returned to their suite just to find out a huge amount of money missing. “We did not put the important belongings to the vault machine because it is not working too,” she said.
They hurriedly reported the incident to the administration and much to their dismay, the hotel have no CCTV cameras monitoring their hallways.
Moreover, they found out that the magnetic door can be accessed by ‘ordinary laminated IDs’. She posted a video about this and called the managers’ attention.
Unfortunately, the hotel did not act on it immediately. They were sent home with a promise of ‘keeping in touch’.
Days later, she received an email from the manager. According to him, he is out of the country and her concern will be acknowledged as soon as he gets back in January next year.
She posted the whole incident online to raise awareness to everyone who thinks they are safe in a hotel.
“I posted this video based on my experience during our stay. Until now, no justice or whatsoever from the management,” she ended her statement.
