In the recent study conducted by Entrepreneur Philippines, they tracked the Top 10 Most Preferred Corporate Employers of 2017 based on the statistics of JobStreet.com.
This study has continued since its first run in 2014.
Jobseekers, take note!
In the said study, Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) came out on top as the most preferred corporate employer of this year. Not only that, Meralco is also the country’s largest electrical power distributor. This is also the first time Meralco made it to the list. Not bad, they came out on top in their first inning.
If the previous releases, multinational companies dominated the list, but for this year, local firms tallied five making a tie with these big companies.
Aside from Meralco, PLDT Inc. and Unilever Philippines came as newcomers dragging Ayala Land Inc., Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines, and SM Investments Corp. out of the list.
JobStreet, the leading online job portal in the Philippines conducted a series of surveys from May 2017 and a total of 3,658 users participated in the said activity.
