We heard that news about that couple who topped the Board Exams, we know celebrity couples who have already reached the zenith of success. But it is the first time that we get to see a couple who both excelled in their chosen paths.
Athlete x Beauty Queen
Started from asaran, the power couple Von Pessumal and Laura Lehmann emerged to be one of the most successful couples in the country. These two Ateneo de Manila University alumni met each other on campus, having the same circle of friends.
Laura came fresh from Binibini straight to being the official Courtside Reporter of Ateneo in UAAP Season 77. While she was doing her job, she got to hang out with Atenean athletes including the Basketball and Volleyball team. Von Pessumal happened to be one of the graduating student-athletes that time and he couldn’t let his chance pass.
After going official online, the two were instantly shipped by many. With towering heights and complementing personalities, the two were almost perfect.
The greatest year
2017 must be the best year for this couple. I don’t have to single out their achievements because you’d probably know it. But the biggest one so far came recently.
Von ended August with a bang as his team Gilas Pilipinas won Gold during the SEA Games! It was highly celebrated because it was the 12th consecutive Gold for the Philippines in the bi-annual sports event.
On the other hand, his gorgeous girlfriend opened September with a blast! After falling short in Binibini, Laura finally found her home as she was hailed to be the Miss World Philippines 2017.
Imagine? The two accomplished their biggest goal in life together! In just nine days! You can’t call it luck because these two really worked hard for it, and they deserve it. They are definitely the #RelationshipGoals we want to look up to.
