A photo of a table full of food and fruits shared by a netizen has gone viral on social media.
Photos posted by groom Kevin Paulo Medrano and bride Graziella Caraan Tumambing on their respective Facebook accounts drew a lot of reactions from netizens.
The photos show a bunch of souvenirs or “dulot” that came from different donors. Aside from cakes, different types of fruit, wine, and trays of food, there are also huge pork legs.
Tumambing wrote. “KASALANG BATANGAS…DULOT/SABIT sa mga Ninong at Ninang.”
“Aba’y Kevin Paulo Medrano ay una at huling kasal na natin ito ha.
“Ala eh pag ika’y napaibig sa Batangueña, buti nalang at ang mister ay Batangueño rin,”
The bride expressed, “Ang aming taos pusong pasasalamat sa aming parehong pamilya at mga kaibigan sa walang katumbas na pagmamahal sa aming mag-asawa, sa lahat po ng aming nakatulong simula sa pamimili, pagaayos, at pamimigay ng aming dulot sa aming mga ninong at ninang…kami po’y lubos na nagpapasalamat sa inyong lahat…God bless po!”
Netizens were surprised to see how big the celebration was. The pork legs caught them off guard, too.
There were nearly a dozen tables each filled with the same stuff. There were also nearly 20 boxes of cakes.
Other photos show people examining the gifts as they too were astounded. It looked like a feast could feed an entire neighborhood.
