A Facebook post by a Samgyupsal restaurant has turned viral after revealing that a group consisting of men and a woman cleaned up their table before leaving.
Samgyupsal tables are typically left untidy most of the time, and it is not the customer’s responsibility to clean up after eating.
But this group was different. Facebook page Tondoueño UNLI SamgyupWings 199 praised the group for their initiative. It said, “Shout out po sa grupong ito. Salamat po sa pag iwan ng malinis at maayos na lamesa. Malaking tulong po ito sa ating mga crew.”
In the photos, it can be seen that the table the group ate at was completely spotless.
Everything was arranged properly and netizens couldn’t help but praise the group as well.
One netizen said that more customers should practice CLAYGO (clean as you go) when eating out. He commented, “Whenever I’m applying this kind of manners tapos kasama ko mga kamag anak ko or other friends ko, sasabihan pako ng dito kana kaya magtrabaho. Like what??! Wag niyo ko itulad sa inyo HAHAHA. Wag ko na daw linisin kasi may magliligpit naman daw nun. Gadd hindi ba pwedeng bawasan nalang natin yung workload nila?”
Another netizen said CLAYGO is a simple courtesy for the staff of whatever restaurant people eat at. “Ganito dapat palagi kapag kumakain sa labas, mapa-karenderya man, fastfood, o restaurants. It’s a courtesy. The fact that you have the liberty and financial capacity to eat at their establishment shows that you are most probably in a better situation financially than the service crew. The best you can do for them is make their jobs a little bit easier. Kindness is never wrong.”
The act the group did has proven to be contagious. In an update posted by the restaurant, it said that more customers had been cleaning up after themselves.
The restaurant said customers don’t have to CLAYGO but they do appreciate anyone who does.
