Filipino alternative rock group Bamboo formed in 2003, and their hit song “Tatsulok” became viral on social media after the band was seen in a post promoting Tingog Party-List’s Thanksgiving concert series.
Among the roster of performers, Bamboo is the most well-known; although this didn’t sit well with the band’s fans and other netizens.

Here’s some trivia: The song ‘Tatusolok’ was first produced by a band called Buklod. It was created during Cory Aquino’s administration when she stood against the NPA.
Here is your reminder that Bamboo did NOT write “Tatsulok”.

In a Facebook post, Tingog Party-List clarified that Bamboo is just a performer and isn’t endorsing any political party. It stated, “This is to inform the public that Bamboo is not connected to and in endorsement with any political party…his upcoming shows for Tingog Party-List’s Pasasalamat Concert are confined merely as a guest performer and not as an endorser nor supporter of any party or person.”
