A netizen’s positive April Fool’s Day prank on delivery drivers goes viral

According to the screenshots, Regalado placed huge orders and contacted riders to tell them they were theirs.

A netizen has been viral after making April Fools’ Day positive for delivery riders.

April Fool’s Day pranks can sometimes be harmful, which is why not everyone likes them.

Netizen Vberni Regalado understood this and decided to do pranks with a positive spin.

Regalado revealed on April 1 that he pranked delivery drivers by canceling his orders.

“Bilang madaming natuwa from last year’s April Fools “prank” sa delivery riders, itinuloy natin this year ang pagbabahagi,” he tweeted.

According to the screenshots, Regalado placed huge orders and contacted riders to tell them they were theirs.

“Hindi tayo mayaman. Pero may kakayanan para makapagbalik ng saya sa mga tao. Sa tingin ko, sapat na ‘yun. Yung makapagbahagi ka ng ngiti at kaunting gaan ng loob sa mga taong naghahanapbuhay araw araw,” Regalado said.

The riders also thanked him for the unexpected gesture.

“Thank you so much, matutuwa po mga anak ko,” a rider commented.

Regalado’s actions inspired other netizens as well.

Regalado also did the same prank last year on the same day.

Regalado made a Facebook post on April 1 that GrabFood PH shared. In the post, he mentioned that he ordered food from three different restaurants, namely 24 Chicken, Andok’s, and Fat Boy’s Pizza Pasta, using GrabFood.

He paid for the food in advance, and all he was left to do was wait for the delivery to arrive once the food was ready.
