Filipina talk show host, entertainment news writer, and talent manager Lolit Solis has claimed that a well-known celebrity has recently resigned from ‘AllTV’ after failing to catch the public’s eye with their latest TV program.
In an April 4 Instagram post, Solis fired shots at the unnamed personality.
“Katawa naman na sabihin meron umalis sa ALL TV at nag tender ng resignation, bakit, meron bang official na declared talent ang ALL TV ? Dahil sa siguro tinatanaw na utang na loob ng mga VILLAR na sinamahan ng isang celebrity nuon campaign , kaya pumayag na sige gusto mo ilagay ang show mo diyan Ok lang,” she wrote.
“Pero para ipilit na ang mga VILLAR ang mag produce ng show hindi nila ginawa dahil nga feeling nila hindi pa handa ang ALL TV para sa isang live show. So go, ilabas iyan sa TV, sige lang,” she added.
She said viewers didn’t like this celebrity’s TV show on AllTV, hence the low ratings.
“Hindi pumalo, talagang ayaw na ng viewers, wala ng ningning ang celebrity. Walang sponsor, wala ng drama ang eklay na pagtulong kunwari sa mga may kailangan. Hindi na kinagat ang mga sinasabing big prizes, talagang sawa na ang viewers,” she said.
Solis added that this celebrity has decided to live a simpler life due to his TV failures.
“Wow, nagising na sa reality na laos na, wala na. Kaya hayan, pagbigyan natin, resign kunwari, simpleng buhay, pahinga na lang muna. ”

Although no names were mentioned, it can be recalled that TV host-singer Willie Revillame reportedly quit AllTV.
In the latest entertainment news of ‘Showbiz Now Na’ by Cristy Fermin on YouTube, she shared that she received information from her source stating that Willie has already filed his resignation with AMBS-2 management.
“Nako, grabe po ito. First time niyo po itong maririnig, mapapanood dito sa aming programa, isa pong source ang nakapagbalita sa amin na sumulat na po si Willie Revillame sa pamunuan ng ALLTV, ng AMBS-2, sumulat na po siya, nag-resign na po siya, at wala na siyang kinalaman sa istasyon,” Fermin said.
The veteran columnist further claimed that the host transferred to AllTV, owned by Manny Villar, out of gratitude.
According to PEP Ph, Revillame did not resign but requested release from his exclusive contract with Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS).
It is mentioned that Revillame conveyed his decision to Villar through a letter sent in March. The host did not want to burden AMBS, so he voluntarily requested cancellation.
It was reported that the host couldn’t bear the idea of not working while still receiving a salary. All programs of the AllTV Network were put on hold to improve the station’s reach and signal.
Revillame’s decision to leave the AllTV Network was not easy for him. Revillame is deeply grateful to the Villars for supporting all his programs, from ABS-CBN to TV5 and GMA-7.
He promised that if the Villars ever need his help and he has no other commitments, he will do his all to assist them. With more than 25 million followers on Facebook and YouTube, there is a high possibility that Willie will continue to provide assistance through Wowowin on social media since his avid supporters long for him.
While ‘Wowowin’ was not airing on AllTV, Revillame remained busy and recorded his new single “Binuo Mo” on Viva Records. The song is composed by award-winning songwriter Vehnee Saturno.
