Filipina television and movie personality Kris Aquino is currently receiving treatment for various autoimmune diseases, but her youngest son Bimby Aquino said she is stable.
In a recent YouTube video, talent manager Ogie Diaz shared that he traveled to California on his way to New York to visit Kris Aquino.
However, when Diaz arrived, Kris Aquino was undergoing multiple tests and needed to rest, so Bimby Aquino traveled to see him instead.
Bimby Aquino conveyed his mother’s apologies for not meeting Diaz and hoped he understood the situation.
“Okay naman, you know… stable, that’s a good word, stable lang. Of course, still beautiful, forever beautiful,” adding that her weight has risen to 103 pounds,” he shared when asked about his mother’s condition.
Bimby Aquino also isn’t fazed by his mother’s appearance.
“Kahit 80 pounds, si Mama, before 80 pounds, she’s still beautiful. Beautiful mama ever para sa akin,” he reiterated.
He mentioned that he considers it his responsibility as Aquino’s son to care for her. He referred to himself as someone who takes the night shift rather than a nurse, as he sleeps beside his mother.
He also expressed gratitude to his mother’s fans for their support and prayers for her health. He promised to take care of Kris Aquino.
In a later part of the video, Diaz shared that Bimby and Josh are not in contact with their fathers, James Yap and Phillip Salvador, respectively.
Diaz says Aquino is content with being the only parent in their lives.
Recently, a US-based Indian doctor named Sudhir Gupta revealed the root of her health issues to the actress.
Entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin said, “May nagbalita po sa aming kaibigan na natumbok na kung saan nanggagaling ang allergies ni Kris Aquino dahil nandoon na siya ngayon kay Dr. Sudhir Gupta. Ito ‘yung Indian doctor na talaga pong dinadayo ng lahat ng mayayaman sa buong mundo at ang expertise po niya talaga ay tungkol sa mga allergiesm auto-immune disease at mag-ama pala ito na ito ang linya. Napakaganda na raw po ng kundisyon ngayon ni Kris Aquino.”
Fermin hopes, “… sana bago matapos ang taon kapiling na natin si Kris Aquino.”
“Oo, kasi si Doc Sudhir Gupta sikat na sikat poi to, ‘yung mga nagpuntang pasyente na napagaling niya, siyempre word of mouth ‘yan, di ba? Hindi ba’t ito ‘yung (sakit ni Kris) na mahirap ma-trace noon pa,” she concluded.
