A woman has gone viral for sharing how her “high school crush” became her boyfriend.
“My highschool crush turned into my boyfriend,” she wrote.
“HAPPY 8TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY BABE!!! YES OPO, TAMA HO KAYO, WALONG TAONG PAG MAMAHALAN! I just wanted to go back and remembering where we came from and sharing it with you,” she added.
Adanza shares how she fell in love with a guy named Vince at first sight during her sophomore year in high school.
She attempted different methods to catch Vince’s attention, such as picking up trash near his classroom and trying out various appearances.
“Ako naman si aklang papansin sige pulot ng basura sa labas ng classroom para may paraan na makalapit ako at makapag tapon sa basurahan nila with matching maliit na boses, “excuse me po” na feeling ko 5’5 lang,” she shared.
Despite all her efforts, Vince did not show any interest, and Adanza later discovered that he was already in a relationship.
She continued to watch him play basketball and attend his games, but eventually, she tried let go of her crush and moved on.
During her senior year in high school, Adanza was still infatuated with Vince and attempted to catch his eye by dressing up and looking good during graduation practices.
Unfortunately, she was humiliated when asked to go on stage and tidy up her appearance, which made her classmates, including Vince, laugh at her.
This was devastating for Adanza, and she resolved to enhance her appearance and take better care of herself after graduation. Eventually, she let go of her crush and successfully finished high school.
“Ilang araw nalang matatapos na ang graduation practice at talaga namang minalas ako dahil may eksena na pinaakyat ako sa stage para ipabura ang make up ko and para kultapan ako kasi ang haba ng bangs ko and I saw my batch mates from different section laughing at me including Vince and it breaks my heart soooo much!” she shared.
Adanza sought a school that accepted transgender students and graduated in Information Technology. Years later, she ran into Vince at a friend’s birthday celebration and realized she still had feelings for him.
However, Adanza is hesitant to pursue a relationship because she believes that, as a college girl, she should only date men. Despite this, Vince sent her a text complimenting her beauty, and they began talking on the phone and texting regularly.
“Araw araw na kaming mag ka usap sa phone, text text and kung san ako nakatambay kahit madaling araw pinupuntahan nya ako with matching foods! Pinakilala sa pamilya nya at sa mga barkada nya, naging mabait sya sa mama ko mga kapatid ko and sa mga kaibigan ko, nakita ko din talaga yung effort nya para makuha ako.”
Vince went out of his way to impress Adanza by bringing her food and introducing her to his family and friends. Eventually, Adanza gives in and starts dating Vince, and they have been together for eight years and are still very much in love.
Adanza did not anticipate finding someone who would appreciate her for who she was and recognize the beauty of her soul.
