A couple has gone viral after their wedding turned into a nightmare due to the catering service they hired. This service allegedly did not follow their agreed-upon arrangements.
During their dream wedding, which they had planned for 11 years, Ruffa Duman and her husband were filled with intense sadness, stress, and anger.
On her Facebook account, the bride recounted the shocking incident on their wedding day. The bouquet looked like a murder weapon, the flowers in the bridal car were plastic, and the food was spoiled.
She expressed, “Hindi ko akalain na ‘yung mga napapanood, nakikita, at nababasa ko sa TV at social media tungkol sa magulong setup ng wedding ay mararanasan namin.”
The catering service allegedly did not follow the agreed arrangements as it seemed to cut corners at the reception venue.
She furthered, “11 taon kaming naghintay ng araw na’ to kaya nung nag-propose sa akin si Alvin last November, hindi na ako tumigil kakahanap at kaka-search ng gusto naming motif at style. Pinaghandaan namin ang aming kasal ng halos limang buwan dahil alam naming deserve namin nang maayos at magandang wedding.”
Duman narrated that on the morning of May 5th, she called the service to come to their place so they could start setting up. However, the service in charge said they could only be there at 4 p.m. assuring her that they are so used to the job; it would be easy peasy for them.
Despite the stress, the bride stayed composed.
The wedding preparation was a disaster from the venue, to the food, car, and wedding bands, down to the bride’s bouquet and more.
She furthered, “Ang wedding wands na matagal ko ng ibinigay ang materials at perang pambili, HINDI MO RIN GINAWA! Yung perang pambili ng pagkain para sa grazing table, na SINABI MONG NANAKAW sayo ng araw na yun, binayaran ng mga bridesmaids ko dahil naiyak ako ng mga oras na iyon sa sobrang stress sayo! Pero ikaw, wala ka man lang sinabing anything just to calm me, my groom, our parents sa palpak mong trabaho. Ikaw pa ang MAS MATAPANG at MAS GALIT sa amin!”
The bride concluded, “ISA KANG MALAKING SCAMMER! SANA WALA NG IBANG TAONG MAGTIWALA SA’YO!!!”
