The new segment “Ang Pinaka” of ‘Eat Bulaga’ trended again after being accused by a netizen of being “scripted.”
A post by the netizen quickly became viral on social media. It showed that one of the contestants in the said segment is acquainted with one of the newly introduced hosts, Buboy Villar.
“Eat Bulagta (Eat Bulaga)… Contestant nyo kunyari napili or talagang kasama scripted na,” said netizen LeoBrando Manlapaz in a June 7 Facebook post.
“Papremyo n’yo di naman tunay na makukuha ng mga pipila at magtyatyga sa labas. Pinagloloko n’yo mga manonood ahiiiiii.”

It was further claimed by the netizen that the said contestant in the ‘Eat Bulaga’ segment is allegedly an employee of Buboy in their joint business.
“Si lelet ay tauhan ni buboy sa kanyang paresan.”
It turns out that the said netizen is actually a loyal fan of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, collectively known as TVJ, who have been pillars of ‘Eat Bulaga’ for 43 years.
Many netizens also commented and expressed their sadness over the perceived loss of integrity of “Eat Bulaga.”
The show has yet to comment on the issue.
