Gender rights advocate Roanne Carreon has spoken out against the discrimination of lesbians from fellow LGBTQ+ members.
In a tweet, Carreon expressed her sadness after hearing someone discriminate lesbians during the Pride March.
When gay men were dying left and right during the AIDS crisis in America, it was the lesbians who stood by the sick gay men while the rest of the world turned a blind eye. https://t.co/VpOJQ04dq0

Netizens also shared their dismay.
Pansinin niyo pag may ganyang "joke" about lesbians maraming umaalma.

The “L” in LGBT stands for ‘Lesbian.’ Lesbian refers to women who are attracted to other women.
