Actor-rapper Carlos Agassi pulled no punches in responding to critics who slammed him for allegedly using transphobic lyrics in his new single ‘Milk Tea.’
Agassi received a wave of negative feedbacks on Twitter around fourteen days after the song was released, as certain lyrics in the song appeared to express his apparent letdown upon discovering that his significant other was a transgender woman.
Part of the song goes:
“Pagbaba ng panty, mga mata’y napadilat. ‘Put*ng i*a,’ ako’y napamura sa gulat. Venti ang kanyang milk tea! Sa dami ng binibini, nakabingwit ako ng binabaiiiiihhhh…”
In a tweet, Agassi said that he respects all genders.
I respect all genders, its not my fault thats your interpretation of the song. Will be praying for your happiness & enlightenment

“Pag wala na masabi, puro (panlalait) at kabastusan. It’s a reflection ng pagpapalaki sa ’yo ng magulang mo, nakakahiya ka?”
He then called his critics ‘losers.’
“Pointless straight to the point boom laos, panit, walang talent? Sino ako, wait harap sa salamin (tingnan) mo sarili mo, haters are losers pretending to be winners.”
He also clapped back at Miss Trans Global 2020 Mela Habijan after she blasted him in a series of tweets.
