The feud between social media personality Rendon Labador and TV host-actor Ion Perez took an intense turn when Rendon Labador issued a challenge to Ion Perez for a fistfight.
The tension escalated after Ion’s cryptic post on his Instagram Stories on August 3, which appeared to be directed at Rendon Labador.
In the post, Ion wrote, “Ilabas ang resibo. Gusto ako niyan kaya siya ganyan,” without mentioning any names.
However, many speculated that he was referring to Rendon’s previous comments calling him a “palamunin” and criticizing his on-screen affection with partner Vice Ganda on “It’s Showtime,” as well as their run-in with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
In response to the post, Rendon Labador retaliated on his own Instagram Stories on August 4.
Rendon clarified that his intention was to call out what he perceives as wrong and to protect young viewers who might be affected by the on-screen behavior of celebrities.
Rendon Labador addressed Ion directly and issued a challenge for a fistfight, saying, “Ayaw ko na sanang patulan kasi nonsense na, sinita ko lang kayo dahil duty ko ang magtama ng mga nakikita kong mali. Wala naman akong pakialam sa kahayupan ninyong dalawa, pinoprotektahan ko lang ang mga batang nanunuod. Pero kung ako pinaparinggan mo sa ig story mo at matapang ka talaga… Oo gusto kita! Gusto kong basagin yang pagmumukha mong hayup ka! Suntukan tayo! G?!”
As of now, there has been no official response from Ion Perez regarding Rendon Labador’s challenge.
