E.A.T host Tito Sotto has directed attention towards GMA Network for continuing to employ a photograph of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ) on the ‘Pinoy TV’ website to promote their show “Eat Bulaga.”
Tito Sotto took to Twitter to share his concern, offering concrete evidence that GMA Network was still using TVJ’s photo as of August 11, despite an ongoing copyright infringement complaint lodged against the network by the iconic trio.
In his tweet, Tito Sotto posted, “Look! GMA website as of yesterday. Kami talaga!” (Look! GMA website as of yesterday. It’s really us!)

Recall that TVJ, represented by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, had demanded GMA and TAPE Inc. to compensate them with 17.482 million pesos for what they claimed were unauthorized replays of “Eat Bulaga” that the network aired for three days. Additionally, the trio requested the court to prohibit TAPE Inc. from using the title “Eat Bulaga” and its renowned segments.
The extent to which the use of TVJ’s photograph in GMA Network’s marketing materials is implicated in the case remains undisclosed.
As of the time of this writing, GMA Network has not issued any response to Tito Sotto’s recent complaint.
