‘It’s Showtime’ host Amy Perez recently shared her extensive efforts to locate her former husband, Brix Ferraris, in the best interests of their only son, Adi.
In a candid interview with Ogie Diaz, Perez disclosed that they both made separate attempts to find Ferraris, but their quest eventually reached an impasse.
Perez explained, “[Nag-effort] kami separately.
While some individuals hinted that Ferraris might be residing in the United States, they chose not to delve further into it. They received information suggesting that Ferraris no longer wished to discuss his child with Amy Perez, and they respected his decision.
Regarding her son, Perez perceived that Adi may have decided to cease his search for his father, coming to terms with the idea that Ferraris wanted no involvement with him. She noted that Adi occasionally makes light-hearted jokes about the situation.
Despite the emotional challenges Adi may be experiencing, Perez emphasized the silver lining: Adi’s strengthened bond with his adoptive father, Carlo Castillo, and his siblings.
So mas na-appreciate niya ngayon si Carlo. Mas na-appreciate niya ngayon ‘yung mga kapatid niya,” Perez shared.
Perez also disclosed that the last time Adi saw Ferraris was when he was approximately three or four years old, and since then, there has been no communication with Ferraris.
