Amidst a wave of accusations and allegations surrounding him and his wife, Mikee Agustin, toy collector and former Streetboys member Yexel Sebastian recently posted on Facebook, shedding light on the ongoing issue.
In his Facebook post dated October 6, Yexel made it clear that they have not issued an official statement regarding the allegations as of yet.
He issued a cautious warning, saying, “People wala pa kaming statement ha, paalala lang Ayaw ko lang bumalik sa inyo mga sinasabi nyo hindi nyo pa alam ang TUNAY na kwento 🙂”
Numerous overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have shared their experiences on social media, claiming that they were lured by Yexel and Mikee into investing in a ₱200-million investment scam. These individuals have reported that the promised returns on their investments have yet to materialize.
The issue has also gained attention on the public affairs show ‘Raffy Tulfo in Action.’ Yexel reportedly emphasized that they were not the owners of the investment and that the funds invested by individuals were taken to a casino junket.
Even showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz has appealed to Yexel to address the matter, expressing concern for the affected investors.
“Sagutin niyo naman ‘yung mga investors niyo, kawawa naman. Hindi nila alam kung papaano kayo kokontakin at kung papaano nila makukuha ang kanilang in-invest,” Ogie said. “Syempre pinaghirapan pa rin natin ‘yung pera diyan kaya dapat maibalik.”
@yexels Salamat 1 Million ❤️🙏
As of the time of writing, Yexel has not provided any further updates on the issue. Dailypedia remains open to hearing his side of the story.
