Sen. Robin Padilla responded with laughter to criticisms directed at his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, regarding her recent “drip session” at the Senate.

The scrutiny arose following Rodriguez’s visit to Padilla’s office to lend her support to the Eddie Garcia Bill, a legislative initiative aimed at enhancing the welfare of individuals in the entertainment industry.

Padilla expressed his support for his wife’s interest in personal enhancement, emphasizing that he saw no issue with her actions.

“Nakakatawa naman po ang political isyu na ‘yan, my goodness. Kung may nakita po silang masama sa larawan na ‘yan, paumanhin po. No Intention of disrespect. My wife loves to promote good looks and good health,” stated Padilla.

Rodriguez had shared an impromptu live video on her social media platform on Thursday, February 22, showcasing her undergoing a “glutathione drip session” while situated inside Padilla’s office within the Senate premises.
