Arjo Atayde files for reelection as Quezon City Congressman

His dual roles as a politician and actor highlight his significant influence in both sectors.

Representative Arjo Atayde of Quezon City’s 1st District has officially filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for reelection.

He submitted his candidacy documents on Tuesday, October 1, at the Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City.

Atayde was joined by his mother, actress Sylvia Sanchez, and fellow members of his political party during the filing. His decision to seek reelection reflects his ongoing commitment to serve the constituents of his district.

Having made his political debut in 2022, Atayde won the congressional seat for Quezon City’s first district and has since been active in various legislative initiatives.
