Sunshine Cruz and businessman Atong Ang were caught sharing a kiss in public, igniting rumors about a potential romantic relationship.
The moment, captured on video by Dianarose Moreno Cuerda and shared on Facebook, shows Cruz walking over to Ang’s table at a cockpit arena to give him a kiss. The couple appeared unfazed by the onlookers, who cheered them on.
The kiss was repeated in another video, with the pair wearing different outfits but still sharing an intimate moment in the same location.
This public display of affection has intensified the dating rumors that have surrounded Cruz and Ang since early this year.
The two were seen together at an event, fueling speculation about their relationship. However, both Cruz and Ang have yet to officially confirm or deny the status of their connection.
Cruz was previously in a six-year relationship with politician Macky Mathay, which ended in September 2022. She later revealed that she felt their relationship had stagnated and was no longer progressing. “Nakita ko lang na hindi na nagle-level up ‘yung relationship. Hindi nagmu-move,” Cruz explained. She emphasized the desire for a relationship that moves forward.
Meanwhile, Atong Ang had previously been linked to actress Gretchen Barretto after they were seen together at several events. Barretto also revealed they were business partners in cockfighting and e-sabong. However, there has been no official confirmation about the nature of their relationship, and the status of Barretto’s long-term relationship with Tonyboy Cojuangco remains unclear.
As of now, neither Cruz nor Ang has publicly addressed the dating rumors.
