Angkasangga Partylist is making significant strides in Metro Manila, climbing in the latest pre-election survey conducted by the Institute for Policy, Strategy, and Developmental Studies, Inc. (IPSDI) from February 3-5, 2025.
The survey, which polled 1,200 randomly selected respondents, ranked Angkasangga Partylist as the top choice in Tondo, number four in Manila City, and number 14 across Metro Manila.
Several factors have contributed to this surge in support, including the endorsement of former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and his slate. “Sinusuportahan namin ang Angkasangga dahil naniniwala kami sa mga adbokasiya nila na makakatulong sa paglaban sa kahirapan ng mga Pilipino,” Moreno stated during a campaign sortie.
Additionally, Angkasangga Partylist First Nominee George Royeca has been actively engaging with various sectors—meeting with Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) from different chapters, biker communities, student leaders, and business groups. His grassroots approach has further strengthened the party’s connection with the communities it seeks to serve.
Royeca’s recent traffic incident involving his Angkas bikers has also resonated with the public. By taking full accountability, apologizing for the violation, and personally surrendering his license to the Land Transportation Office (LTO), he demonstrated genuine leadership—earning praise from netizens. One Angkas rider commented, “Salamat, Boss! Ganyan talaga ang tunay na lider.” Another netizen added, “Tunay na lider ng mga kagulong. Hindi talaga nang-iiwan yan.”
Angkasangga Partylist remains committed to its mission of fighting poverty and advocating for the rights and welfare of riders, commuters, the informal sector, and the general public. Its platform focuses on pushing for laws that protect the livelihood of riders and informal workers, securing fuel subsidies to ease financial burdens, and providing essential services such as calamity assistance, accident claims, health insurance, and access to basic social services.
With growing public support, Angkasangga Partylist continues to gain ground as a strong voice for the transport sector and the broader Filipino community.
