A high-ranking government official is now facing a concubinage case after his wife—who is also a politician—caught him allegedly having an affair with a television personality, veteran journalist Arnold Clavio revealed in a recent social media post.
According to Clavio, the wife personally witnessed her husband inside the home of his alleged mistress, prompting her to take legal action.
The Quezon City Police Department has reportedly requested CCTV footage from an exclusive subdivision to serve as additional evidence in the case.
In his post, Clavio hinted at the scandal without directly naming the individuals involved.
“Sino itong opisyal ng gobyerno na nasundan at nahuli ng Misis niya—na politiko rin—nang pumunta sa bahay ng kanyang umano’y kulasisi na aktres? Humiling na ang istasyon ng pulis sa homeowners ng exclusive subdivision ng kopya ng CCTV para sa dagdag na ebidensiya,” he wrote.
Clavio also claimed that the politician-husband had attended a recent event with visible scratch marks on his face, allegedly from a previous altercation with his wife. He added that the couple had reportedly been involved in frequent arguments in recent months.
While Clavio did not disclose her identity, sources suggest that the woman linked to the government official is a talent from a major news network.

Despite not being as famous as some of her colleagues, the actress is widely recognized for her beauty and often flaunts luxury items on social media.
As of now, the accused government official has yet to address the allegations against him or issue a statement regarding the case filed by his wife.
