Actor Tom Rodriguez rants about his recent bad customer service experience on Instagram.
Upon Tom’s post of seemingly a screenshot of a chat that says “Please wait for an agent. There are currently 7 visitor(s) waiting to be served”. At the caption, he stated his issues with food delivery service, Foodpanda’s customer service.
“I am curious to find out… as I have had several orders that were said to be delivered that never arrived and on thse occassions, kinain ko na hiya ko para katukin mga kapitbahay tuwing nangyayari to para lang itanong kung nagkamaling naideliver sa kanila… pero di naman daw. Sa app naman, laging napuputol yung sa chat kapag sa kalagitnaan na then pagbalik ng chat iba na kausap mo at rinse, lather and repeat… hanggang sa mapagod ka na lang… how many of you here have experienced similar issues with @foodpanda_ph? And what avenues did u have to take to have the issue resolved? Kamusta para sa inyo anf customer service ng @foodpanda_ph? At bakit walang phone number sa website ng app at ng foodpanda? Chat lang na never gumagana. “
He also replied to some comments on his post regarding the issue.
“At this point…I’m just trying to figure out if the chat is really broken by accident of by design… coz everytime, umaabot ka na lang sa point na andami mo nang naaksayang na oras pero gutom ka parin…kaya ileletgo mo na lang yung issue.”
He then posted another series of chats that the Foodpanda agent is explaining that, at their end, they can only see him leaving the chat.
“Don’t mind me guys…nagpapapansin lang sa @foodpanda_ph wala kasing epek yung emails at dm’s eh…pati comment sa page nila…baka lang sakaling may makausap akong tao sa phone from @foodpanda_ph mismo para lang malinawan ako sa nangyayari? Today i ordered from gongcha and snr…nakuha ko yung gongcha pero di yung pizza
sa snr…nung nakausap ko ang customer service ng foodpanda sa chat…nilinaw ko ang nangyari..may nagtext sakin na rider na sya daw mismo nagdeliver…tinanong ko kung snr ba or goncha…gongcha daw…so tanong ko, bakit siya yung kumontact sakin na sinabi ko sa customer service rep na nakuha ko yung gongcha…tanong ko na lang daw sa kanila…kaso walang malinaw na sagot #hangry #ganitopalapakiramdamnghinahighblood”
Tom has then deleted the posts and uploaded a photo of pasta and a shrimp dish that looks like is from his rumored girlfriend, Carla Abellana‘s mother, Rea Reyes.
