- Man gets caught with car but says that it was just mortgaged car
A Netizen named Steve Wolf posted a series of videos of them following a man who was driving a car that is claimed to have car napped.
The Facebook user narrated that Renato rented the car and keeps on extending the rental period. It has been 10 days since his rental period has ended but he still hasn’t returned the car nor updated them about the location of the vehicle.

This car has been rented by a guy named RENATO CERVANTES. After renting the car inextend niya ng inextend kahit ayaw na ng mayari. 10days na simula nung tapos na ang rent niya pero di niya parin sinasauli at pinapaalam kung nasaan ang sasakyan.
When they found out that he was only in Manila, they immediately reported it to the police. At the same day, a friend of Steve saw the car roaming around Timog Avenue.
He said that the car owner was deeply disappointed so they needed to find a way to find it.
They suddenly saw the car attempting to park at one bar in the area. They followed it but he managed to escape. They tried looking for a police but there was no one around the area.
They finally cornered him in a small street.
Renato was said to purposely cause a commotion so that the residents would be alerted and it worked as the police came to the area.

When the car was recovered, the man driving stated that he’s not the renter and the man just mortgaged the car to him but he was still taken by the police.
They have recovered the car but didn’t manage to find the original renter.
