- Original creator of viral Victor Magtanggol poster clarifies that the poster was only fan-made
- In his post, he said that he decided to make a poster for Victor Magtanggol with the same style as Thor’s poster since the show is under accusation of being a Thor rip-off.
The creator of the poster of Victor Magtanggol defended his edit by a public post on his Facebook account.
Paulo Naparan addressed all the Netizens’ allegations toward the Kapuso network. People have pointed out the similarities of the Victor Magtanggol poster and Marvel’s Thor.
Naparan, however, dismissed the rumors of it being official official. He wrote, “Okay mga dude. Let’s clear things up. THIS IS A FANMADE Poster only. I know medyo hawig yung Mapapanood palang nating Victor Magtanggol and yung Kilala na nating Thor sa mga movies ng marvel, kaya I decided na gawan ng poster ang victor magtanggol na atleast for my taste e lelebel sa mga poster ng mga past movie ng marvel”
After editing the poster, he decided to post it on Facebook group called the Pinoy Graphic Artist wherein people can share their graphic designs to other artists. He added that he was surprised by the sudden spread of the said poster in different social media platforms.
Naparan added that he did not create the poster to be bashed but to show support to the series.
“Then night after kung saan saan ko na sya nakikita, and also napagmumulan na ng hate and kabi kabilang bash yung show because of this. Di ko alam, I created this to support Victor Magtanggol hindi po para ibash or kung ano man. Sorry.”
Netizens have expressed their concern regarding the originality of the Victor Magtanggol poster as soon as it began to spread like wildfire on the social media sites.

Tingin ko naman maganda yung poster ng Victor Magtanggol. Maaring ginaya nga pero lahat naman ginagaya diba pwede ba kasuhan ang Marvel ng Norse Gods?
